A Floral Workshop Experience for International Women’s Day

This International Women’s Day, Dynasty Events and Florals hosted two bouquet-making workshops in Toronto, welcoming over 60 incredible women for an immersive, hands-on floral experience. Designed to be both creative and approachable, the workshops invited guests to step into the world of floral design while celebrating connection, creativity, and individuality.

Inside the Workshop Experience

Each workshop guided participants through the process of creating a hand-tied floral bouquet from start to finish.

Guests learned foundational floral techniques, including how to build a balanced bouquet, work with seasonal stems, and professionally wrap their arrangements. We worked with fresh spring blooms, including locally grown parrot tulips and fragrant freesia, which filled the room with a soft, spiced floral scent.

One of the most rewarding parts of every workshop is seeing how each participant interprets the design process. No two bouquets are ever the same.

We always begin by reminding guests: floral design is art and art is meant to be personal. Each bouquet reflected the individual behind it, becoming a lasting reminder of the experience long after the event ended.
