Dynasty Events and Florals is a design-led floral studio founded by Giulia Brandolisio, creating sculptural, editorial floral experience for weddings, corporate events, and meaningful celebration throughout Toronto and the GTA.
As a luxury wedding florist, I approach flowers differently. Rather than treating each arrangement as an individual decoration, I consider how flowers interact with the architecture, light, movement, colour, and atmosphere of an entire space.

My relationship with flowers started long before Dynasty.
I grew up surrounded by them. From my Nonni’s lush backyard gardens to my aunt’s flower shop, where I spent much of my childhood. Flowers were always a part of my world, even before I understood that I would spend my days designing compositions with mother nature’s most beautiful gifts.
I didn’t take the most obvious path to floristry. I studied History and Anthropology, spending years immersed in books, research, and the stories people leave behind.
It wasn’t until a friend’s wedding that ultimately changed the direction of my life.
Designing those flowers showed my something I hadn’t fully understood before: flowers can transform a space, communicate something without words, and create an emotional response that stays with people.
That realization led me back to floristry, and eventually to Dynasty.
I’ve since grown beyond what I ever dreamed. From designing for small weddings of friends, to galas for fortune 500 companies my work has become my obsession. Today, I bring together my experience in floral design, my love of art and history, and a deeply practical understanding of how events come together to create floral experiences that are both beautiful and exceptionally considered.
Why “The Floral Architect”?
Flowers are naturally sculptural.
The have structure, movement, proportion, texture and dimension. When thoughtful designed, they can change the way a room feels, draw attention to details, create a focal point, and guide how guests experience a space.
That is the thinking behind The Floral Architect.
I look beyond the individual bouquet or centrepiece and consider the larger composition: how an arrangement relates to a table, how an installation reacts with a ceiling or staircase, how colour moves throughout a room, and how each floral element contributes to the atmosphere of the celebration.
A wedding bouquet, ceremony installation, tablescape or corporate floral installation is never designed in isolation.
It is part of something larger.

For me, it is about having more thought behind every decision.
From the first conversation through design development, sourcing, production, delivery, installation and, teardown, I believe the experience should feel organized, collaborative, and clear.
I work with client who value creative direction and want a floral experience that feels personal rather than pulled from a catalogue.
Your ideas, inspiration images, venue, priorities, and personal style all become part of the conversation. My role is to listen carefully, develop the creative direction, and then elevate those ideas into a cohesive floral moment.
The result is a process that feels calm and intentional, with you having the confidence of knowing that the details are being handled.

How flowers move through a composition and how the eye travels through a space.
Scale & Proportion
How the size and structure of a floral design relate to the architecture, furniture, tablescape, and overall environment.
Colour & Texture
How colour palettes and botanical textures create depth, contrast, atmosphere, and cohesion.
Space & Architecture
How the existing character of a venue can inform the floral design rather than being overlooked or covered up.
Guest Experience
How flowers contribute to the way people move through, gather within, and remember a space.

Experience Rooted in Technique
My creative approach is supported by professional floral training and years of hands-on experience.
I hold a diploma from the Canadian Institute of Floral Design and am certified through the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada (WPIC).
That combination of floral technique and wedding planning knowledge allows me to approach each project from both creative and logistical perspectives.
Because beautiful design still needs to work in the real world.
It needs to arrive on time, install correctly, complement the venue, withstand the demands of an event, and look just as intentional in person as it did in the design concept.

I don't believe your wedding or event needs to follow whatever happens to be trending.
Instead, I look for the elements that genuinely resonate with you and translate them into something cohesive, sophisticated, and personal.
The goal isn't to create something that looks like it belongs to this season.
It's to create something you'll still love when you look back at it years from now.
