A Textural Fall Wedding at Madison Greenhouse

Lauren and Braydon’s October wedding at Madison Greenhouse was a celebration filled with warmth, texture, and natural beauty.

Set against the backdrop of the greenhouse, the floral design embraced a just-picked-from-the-garden aesthetic; featuring blooms in full expression, rich textures, and a palette that reflected the depth of the fall season.

A Bridal Bouquet in Full Bloom

From our first conversation, Lauren’s vision for her bouquet was clear: she wanted florals fully open, with visible centres that felt natural and alive.

Achieving this required careful flower selection, precise timing, and intentional preparation.

We built the bouquet on a base of textured fall foliage, layering in locally grown dahlias and delicate anemones for depth and contrast. White roses were carefully conditioned and encouraged to open fully, revealing their soft yellow centres and adding a romantic, organic quality to the design.

The result was a bouquet that felt abundant, textural, and true to the season.

From Ceremony to Reception: Thoughtful Repurposing

One of the most effective ways to elevate a wedding design is through intentional repurposing.

For Lauren and Braydon’s ceremony, we designed a floral swag for their outdoor arbour simple in structure, yet impactful in presence. Featuring dahlias, roses, and anemones, it created a beautiful focal point as guests arrived.

Following the ceremony, the floral installation was seamlessly transitioned to the head table, where it became a central design feature for the reception.

This approach not only maximized the impact of the florals but also created a cohesive visual story throughout the day.

A Wedding Defined by Texture

Texture was at the heart of Lauren and Braydon’s floral design.

By combining a variety of blooms each with its own shape, movement, and character: the overall aesthetic felt layered, natural, and visually engaging without being overwhelming.

This is where thoughtful floral design makes the difference: not in quantity, but in intention.
