A Garden-Inspired Summer Wedding at Whistle Bear Golf Club
Alisha and Jason’s wedding at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge was the definition of effortless, garden-inspired design.
The vision was to create florals that felt as though they had been naturally gathered from the surrounding landscape soft, organic, and full of movement. Set within Whistle Bear’s light-filled glass pavilion, the entire day carried a sense of airiness, calm, and understated elegance.
A Lush Ceremony Floral Meadow
For the ceremony, we designed a sprawling floral meadow that framed the front of the garden chapel and surrounded the couple as they exchanged vows.
The meadow featured layers of white garden roses, delphinium, and matricaria, creating a textured and dimensional focal point. Designed to feel natural and abundant, the installation softened the structure of the space while enhancing the outdoor setting.
Following the ceremony, the floral meadow was thoughtfully repurposed and placed in front of the sweetheart table allowing it to remain a central design feature throughout the reception.
A Light and Textural Reception Design
The reception carried the same sense of softness and intentionality.
Whistle Bear’s harvest tables were styled with a combination of low floral arrangements and crisp white pillar candles, creating a clean and refined tablescape. For select tables, we introduced garden-style compote arrangements to add height, variation, and visual interest.
This balance of structured elements and organic groupings created a design that felt cohesive, dynamic, and visually layered without feeling overwhelming.
A Seamless Floral Story
One of the defining elements of Alisha and Jason’s wedding was the continuity of design from ceremony to reception.
By repurposing key floral pieces and maintaining a consistent palette and texture throughout, the entire event felt connected and thoughtfully curated from start to finish.
