Nicole and Jordan’s wedding took place on a hot, sun-filled July afternoon at Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club, just outside Toronto. The entire day felt like a scene from a romantic film joyful, emotional, and filled with soft pastel summer florals.
Every detail was thoughtfully planned, creating a celebration that felt both elevated and deeply personal.
From High School Sweethearts to Newlyweds
Nicole and Jordan’s story began in high school. Fifteen years later (after building a life together, purchasing a home, and welcoming two beautiful children) they finally said “I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends.
The ceremony carried a sense of anticipation and meaning that only comes from a love story this enduring.
Nicole looked effortlessly timeless in a perfectly fitted ball gown, carrying a hand-tied bridal bouquet filled with bright seasonal blooms. The bouquet was finished with a meaningful personal memento, adding an emotional layer to an already unforgettable moment
Ceremony Florals That Enhance the Landscape
One of the most beautiful features of Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club is its ceremony setting overlooking the water. The goal was to design florals that enhanced the natural environment without competing with it.
Our approach was intentional and restrained.
We created a series of bespoke floral baskets filled with fresh, seasonal blooms and placed them at the start of the aisle. The design framed the ceremony space while allowing the surrounding landscape to remain the focal point.
It was a perfect balance of design and environment.
A Light-Filled Summer Reception
The reception design carried the same sense of ease and elegance.
We styled the tables with a curated collection of bud vases in varying heights and shapes, creating texture and movement across the room. Each arrangement featured soft pastel florals that reflected the summer palette of the day.
Gold candle holders added warmth and a subtle glow, allowing the entire space to feel romantic as the evening unfolded.
