A Romantic Bridal Shower at Deer Creek Event Centre in Ajax
Alexandra’s bridal shower was the epitome of a perfect late Sunday morning in June. Hosted at Deer Creek Event Centre in Ajax just outside Toronto, this French garden inspired celebration was filled with lush seasonal florals and thoughtful details.
The design palette featured fluffy peonies, lush white hydrangea, and striking blue delphinium, creating a soft, romantic atmosphere that felt both elegant and welcoming.
Alexandra—who is also one of our 2025 Dynasty Events and Florals brides (keep an eye out for her wedding feature soon) fully embraced the sculptural floral design and curated event styling our studio is known for. The event incorporated custom floral installations, refined candle rentals, and a dramatic draped backdrop designed for unforgettable photos.
Making the Head Table the Focal Point
For Alexandra’s head table, the goal was simple: romantic, dramatic, and timeless.
We created a cascading floral installation that flowed organically from the tabletop to the floor, drawing attention to Alexandra and her closest friends while adding movement and softness to the space.
The arrangement featured cloud-like white hydrangea, perfectly open peonies, fully bloomed roses, and natural greenery. One of the most memorable elements of the design was the fragrance of the peonies, which filled the room as guests arrived and added a beautiful sensory layer to the celebration.
A Draped Photo Backdrop Designed for Guests
One of Alexandra’s priorities was creating interactive moments for her guests, and the photo backdrop became one of the highlights of the event.
We designed a layered draping installation using opaque white fabric and flowing chiffon swags to create texture and depth. The backdrop felt soft and romantic while providing the perfect photo setting.
To finish the installation, we added sculptural floral accents that framed guests as they captured photos because no Dynasty Events and Florals installation is complete without flowers.
Elegant Bridal Shower Tablescape Design
The guest tables brought together some of the most charming details of the event.
Petite centrepieces featuring hydrangea, peonies, roses, and delphinium were arranged in classic white bowls so guests could take them home as keepsakes from the day. Alexandra paired the florals with gold chrome taper candle holders and blush pink candles, all styled atop beautiful French blue linens that added a refined pop of colour.
Alexandra also went above and beyond by designing her own menus, table numbers, and custom chocolate bar wrappers for guests, personal touches that made the event feel even more special.
Florals Throughout the Event Space

Lush arrangements welcomed guests in the foyer, framing a custom-built welcome sign and weaving through Alexandra’s acrylic seating chart. These installations created a cohesive floral story from the moment guests arrived.
